Danang - A new diving destination in Asia

Just an hour flight from the main cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, lies Danang which is favoured and remembered for its famous “Bac  My An beach” which was awarded one of the six most luxurious beaches in the World by Forbes Magazine. Danang is well known from its history as the ultimate place for rest and relaxation.

The coast surrounding the Furama Resort offers a new and exciting destination for divers in Asia. With its crystal clear waters, coral formations and white sandy beaches, this region of Vietnam has just being discovered by dive enthusiasts from around the world.

Dive Danang by Furama is managed by the Resort’s highly qualified German Instructor and Dive Manager, Ms. Martina Hundt.

Martina gained her Open Water license in 2002 in the chilly waters of Germany and has dive experience from all corners of the world. She speaks German and English fluently and is able to communicate in French as well.

Dive Danang by Furama is the sole operator for diving activities and PADI courses in this area, with the latest diving equipment from Germany and Australia, maintained to the highest standards of safety. Dive Danang also offers a comprehensive range of diving services and courses for beginners as well as for experienced scuba-divers seeking new and exciting challenges. Snorkeling Tours are also available for those who wish to experience the wonders of sea in and around the Furama’s pristine coastline area.

Our dive-boat for up to 20 explorers is the water base for new premier diving spots along the shores of the Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain) where crystal blue waters reveal magnificent corals and an amazing variety of sub-tropical sea-life.

The open water diving service is available from February to end of September yearly, due to the weather conditions and the underwater visibility.

Furama Resort also provides an extensive range of Water Sports activities, like sailing, wind surfing, water ski, jet ski and banana boat rides to name some of the activities.
