Furama Resort gets ready to host the ASEAN ministerial meetings

Furama Resort Danang has finished all preparations to host three ASEAN ministerial meetings including the third ASEAN Political-Security Community Council (APCS) meeting, the ASEAN Coordination Council (ACC) meeting and the ASEAN ministerial meeting (AMM) retreat.
All the meetings will be held from Jan 13 to Jan 15, 2010 to discuss preparation work for the 15th ASEAN Summit and related meetings; review the implementation of decisions adopted at the previous summits, progress in building an ASEAN community by 2015 and implementation of the ASEAN Charter, as well as push cooperative activities and measures ensuring peace and security in the region.
According to Mr Duncan MacLean, General Manager of Furama Resort Danang, all the resort’s staff have carefully and thoughtfully prepared for this important event in accordance with ASEAN general rules. “With a wealth of experience in hosting important international meetings over the past years, all staff of Furama Resort are well prepared for welcoming, accommodating to create the best conditions for a successful meeting and show off Vietnam’s hospitality,” he said.
