Marble Mountains to be built as a cultural park

A detailed plan on the Marble Mountains Cultural and Spiritual Park has recently been approved for an expansion of the area of the five mountains of Kim Son, Moc Son, Thuy Son, Hoa Son and Tho Son to function as theme parks, which could attract an investment of around VND 2,000 billion.
Thuy Son will have the theme of water culture, Tho Son will serve as an open-air museum of statues and stone works, Kim Son and Hoa Son will become places to worship the Goddess of Mercy and hold spiritual rites and ceremonies, and Moc Son will be used to preserve rare plants. According to designers, the focus of the park will be a fine art stone museum, which will be built underground, being modeled upon a large cave. Nearly 1,600 local households who mainly work in crafts will be arranged into 3 villages in the park. In the future visitors will be taken to the highest mount, Thuy Son, by a 43-metre lift system rather than walking up the 108 steps. At that height, guests will not only have incredible views of the surrounding area, but easily visit Xa Loi tower and Ling Ung pagodas as well as the beautiful grottoes. The construction of the lift system promises to lure more guests to the Marble Mountains which is just 5 minutes drive from Furama Resort.
