The newly opened Danaksara restaurant, nestled in the heart of the fabulous Furama Villas Danang, was officially launched on 10th July 2018.

This latest high-concept restaurant makes the culinary beach resort a gourmet destination for all traditional food culture seekers, with a nostalgic ambience that recalls historical memoirs of the country embraced in the diversified traditional Danang and Central Vietnam' cuisine passed down through generations. We are honoured to be part in preserving our sacred motherland's  history and culinary culture.

In the middle of this idyllic green oasis, boasting spectacular views to our central pool, leaving behind all the hustle and bustle of city life, hardly anyone knows this area was once a Military Base of the United States and part of the Salt Water Airport where US aircrafts took off to bomb North Vietnam during the war.

A special chain of festivals in October

''Mexican Week'' - a unique 3-day buffet event took place from Sep 13th to Sep 15th, 2013 at the Furama Resort Danang. The program aimed to bring Mexican cuisine which is known as intangible cultural heritage to all guests and tourists on the occasion of Mexico's Independence Day.

This special event was held at the Hai Van Louge, next to the main pool which featured lots of paper flowers, colorful lanterns, cactus, wild "Ponchos", and a unique feature of Mexican costume "the Sombrero".  Along with the colorful decoration, the bustling music by D.J. Guismo from Spain and dynamic dance turned the venue into a true Mexican Fiesta. Seating on a soft chair, feeling the life by enjoying true Mexican Margaritas and the taste of 40 delicious Mexican dishes such as Tacos, Tamales, Horchatas, Micheladas, ect prepared by our executive Chef Jurgen Kauz. A variety of delicious desserts and fruits completed the tastes for all the gourmets.

''Oktoberfest'' is the biggest beer festival in the world and usually occurs from the last Saturday of September to the first Sunday of October. Oktoberfest at Furama took place on the 4th and 5th of October. Guests enjoyed the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest, completed with savory German cuisine, premium imported German beer, and a special music selection by our house band. All this happening in typical Bierfest decoration, highlighted our open-air ocean view courtyard and of the acclaimed Hai Van Lounge Bar.

Waiters in Lederhosen, alpine hat and knee socks and waitresses wearing beautifully light-up Dirndl dress filled beer for guests.

So all your beer lover got your glasses filled of beer and drink together while moving around to toast with friends in true German tradition. Colorful fresh flowers, barrels and many other decorative surprises as well as extended options of imported German beers such as "Erdinger and Bitburger" awaited all the German beer fans.

Dance and folk music kept the party rocking through the evening with diversified finger-food: smoked bacon, Nurnberger and Bockwurst sausage, biscuits, fried potato...made the guests forget the time and immerse into this famous event to celebrate German culture.

A magnificent "Halloween" buffet event will end October in a true spirit of the season. The Hai Van Lounge will be transformed into a haunted space with creepy decoration, pumpkins with light inside as well as waiters and waitresses disguised as vampires and zombies serving guests eyeball pasta, chocolate spider cookies, sausage and pumpkin roast...A band dressed in Halloween traditional costume will create some sound effects and play scary music to warm up the atmosphere. It will be a true Halloween celebration for all young and old guests.
