The central coastal city of Danang has seen robust growth in the tourism sector, thanks to scores of festivals taking place between May and September.

Danang City recorded 1.6 million tourists over the past two months, surging by 26% year-on-year, said Tran Chi Cuong, deputy director of the Department of Tourism of Danang City. He attributed this to a series of festivals and activities, such as the Danang International Fireworks Festival and Danang-Summer Destination 2018 program.

FURAMA CULINARY FESTIVITIES TO CELEBRATE DANANG LIBRATION’S DAY

A series of culinary and cultural festivities were held at Furama Resort Danang to celebrate the 41st anniversary of the city's Libration Day on March 29.

On the occasion, the Resort held an "Ancient Danang" photo exhibition with a collection of 50 photos featuring the natural and historical beauties of "Tourane" city (the old name of Danang City) in the XIX century which were displayed at the stunning new infinity courtyard. The images took visitors back in time to the old Danang when there were long-standing seaport adjacent to the mountains, rivers, and fields in the harmony of a beautiful natural landscape where people lived in harmony with the nature.

At the same time, at the Café Indochine Restaurant, Danang residents could enjoy a special 10% off the resort's spectacular Seafood Dinner Buffet. The buffet highlighted Danang specialties such as 'Danang rice paper roll with pork', 'pan cakes', 'rice and quail eggs pan cakes', 'seafood hand rolls'; some 50 freshly prepared seafood items including lobster, oyster and a wide range of sushi, sashimi and some mouthwatering desserts. Guest entered an unforgettable night with Champa performances while sipping a glass of sparkling wine.
