The central coastal city of Danang has seen robust growth in the tourism sector, thanks to scores of festivals taking place between May and September.

Danang City recorded 1.6 million tourists over the past two months, surging by 26% year-on-year, said Tran Chi Cuong, deputy director of the Department of Tourism of Danang City. He attributed this to a series of festivals and activities, such as the Danang International Fireworks Festival and Danang-Summer Destination 2018 program.

FURAMA RESORT DANANG WINS THE OVERALL 3RD PRIZE AT 2017 NHA TRANG LIFEGUARD COMPETITION

Furama Resort Danang has honorably archieved the Overall 3rd Prize of 2017 Nha Trang Lifeguard Competition together with 2 individual Second Prizes, 1 Third Prize and 1 Incentive Award. This event is part of Nha Trang Sea Festival 2017 with themed "Extending the circle of friendship" in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province from June 10 – 13 this year.

2017 Nha Trang Lifeguard Competition attracted teams from a number of hotels, resorts and clubs in Vietnam. The event consisted of several categories such as board rescue, board relay, iron man, swim relay, etc.

Nha Trang Sea Festival 2017 is held every two years with many special culture, sports and tourism activities. Held every two years, the festival aims to promote sea and island tourism of Viet Nam as well as the beauty of Nha Trang Bay and cultural tradition of Khanh Hoa Province.
