According to Danang municipal Department of Tourism, the city has seen a significant growth in the number of foreign tourist arrivals in 2017.

It is estimated that the total number of visitors coming to Danang city has reached 6.6 million in 2017, rising by 19% compared to 2016 and achieving 104.8% of this year's target.

The total number of foreign visitor arrivals is expected to have increased 36.8% compared to 2016 to 2.3 million this year, achieving 114.7% of 2017's target. About 4.3 million domestic guests are predicted to have visited Danang in 2017, rising by 11.3% against 2016, obtaining 100.1% of this year's target.

"Open Chef Competition" is one of the most anticipated events of the year for young professionals from hotels and restaurants in Danang, Hoi An, Hue, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. The event, aimed at highlighting the great talents of the culinary world, and promoting Danang as an ideal tourism destination, pits the country's young culinary chefs against each other in a live kitchen cook off creating a four-course meal for 4 people within only 150 minutes.

With over 15 years of experience as a top culinary expert in both international and local cuisines, chef Tuan is an ideal choice for judge. At Furama Resort, he devotes all his time to create the best of signature dishes and set up great culinary events such as the yearly Tet Village Market, amazing Gala Dinners for many kind of groups, our Vietnamese and International menus, the delightful Festive Season fares, the Vietnam Folklore Night as well as different international culinary events such as the Indian Food Festival, Mexican Week, Thai Cuisine Week, and others.
