Hai Van Lounge to launch Afternoon Tea and Dessert Buffet from Feb

February, 2014 - Furama Resort has recently launched an Afternoon Event with the "Afternoon High Tea", served every afternoon from 15.00-17.00hrs at Hai Van lounge.

As an ambassador of Vietnamese culinary events, Furama Resort holds a collection of 15 selected teas with different kind of flavors and techniques, from herbal teas to flower scented teas, green tea, corn milk tea, Lingzhi mushroom tea and other unique tea flavors from Vietnam. These choices are believed to enhance your health and give peace to your mind and soul with such flavors of for example cinnamon tea stimulating your liver and Lingzhi mushroom considered as a magical potion allowing you to sleep well at night.

While sipping those teas, 25 "homemade" and succulent tidbits will be available to experience the fantastic tastes of true cones, sweet cakes, salty buts and fresh fruits prepared daily by Furama's Pastry Chef and his team.

In Vietnam, Tea is the most important drink after water, featured in almost all activities such as weddings, birthdays, ritual ceremonies or while just enjoying a cup in the afternoon during peaceful moments.

To the Vietnamese, appreciating a flavored tea is almost considered an art and every tea drinker is an artist. People are encouraged to drink for different reasons and interests. While a cup of hot green tea in the morning can make you feel ready to start a new day, a cup of cinnamon tea in the afternoon can bring peace to people's mind and a cup of "honey whiskey Lipton tea" is needed to refresh your soul after a night out.

Come and have a smell through our Tea collection, order your favorite tea and enjoy "a few moments in peace and relaxation"!
