The central coastal city of Danang has seen robust growth in the tourism sector, thanks to scores of festivals taking place between May and September.

Danang City recorded 1.6 million tourists over the past two months, surging by 26% year-on-year, said Tran Chi Cuong, deputy director of the Department of Tourism of Danang City. He attributed this to a series of festivals and activities, such as the Danang International Fireworks Festival and Danang-Summer Destination 2018 program.

This year, Furama Resort Danang rang in the Year of the Monkey with a vast variety of festivities, from the famous "Tet Village Market" to special traditional Tet Menu and cultural performances.

The Lunar New Year Holiday, or "Tet", was kicked off at Furama Resort with remarkable "Tet Village Market". The "Vietnamese Lunar New Year Set Menu" followed from February 7 to 12 at the cozy Café Indochine Restaurant offering visitors traditional Tet dishes. Square glutinous rice cakes, salted pickled scallion heads, dipping pork sauce, pickled beef and various traditional delicacies for Vietnamese Tet were served at the price of VND 568,000++/adult. Meanwhile, the "Daily Seafood Dinner Buffet" with a wide range of additional Vietnamese cuisine and a glass of sparkling wine delighted guests with the exceptional price of VND 888,000++/adult.

Furthermore, the resort kept the custom of giving lucky money and held a lion dance performance to bring tourists coziness, especially for those who celebrate Tet far away from home.
