The central city of Da Nang has overtaken HCMC and Ha Noi, Viet Nam's two biggest cities, to become the only Vietnamese candidate listed in the world's top 10 worth-living destinations for expats in 2018, according to a survey conducted by Live and Invest Overseas travel magazine.

Commenced with a cheerful "White" themed welcome dinner at the Ariyana Grand Ballroom, guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet prepared by the professional culinary team of Furama Resort Danang while enjoying vivid sound & lighting performances.

Magnificent Christmas and New Year Eve Party

The Furama Resort Danang once more held their spectacular Christmas and New Year's Eve Parties on December 24th, 25th and 31st, 2013, which, over the years, has become the most famous attraction in Danang drawing the attention of both, the local and international community.

This year, the Christmas Eve spectacle on December 24th featured music and dance performances in the lobby followed by a lavish dinner at the Café Indochine Restaurant. Under the 9 meter high Christmas tree, Alain Vu – one of only 7 male sopranos in the world, raised his voice singing Ave Maria producing tuneful melodies warming up the party. The evening also saw "little singer" Chiara Falcone – the Voice Kids Vietnam 2013 together with Furama Choir chanting "O Come All Ye Faithful", "You Raise Me Up" and other cherish Christmas songs. Guests were invited to a toast with a glass of wine to greet Santa Claus making his surprise appearance carrying a large bag of gifts on a Vietnamese Cyclo.

During the Six-course dinner on the 24th and the hearty Christmas buffet dinner on the 25th evening at the colonial style Café Inchochine Restaurant, guests were treated to truly traditional Christmas dishes which they shared with their family and friends.

On December 31st, 2014, the fabulous CanCan dance troupe revived a "Cabaret of the 20's" party which took place in The International Convention Palace of the Resort, which was transformed with a night of the 20's theme decoration. Guests in stunning outfits including hats and tails, ruffled skirts, petticoats or black stockings joined great Cabaret, shows, exciting music in an extravagant show to ring in the New Year. The International Convention Palace was a perfect venue where guests could enjoy the special night with a lavish buffet while swinging their legs, jumping and heart skipping well into the early hours of the New Year. A true Feast to a Countdown in an exciting atmosphere to welcome the very first moments of the New Year!
