Once again this year, from February 2-4, Furama Resort Danang held its popular "Tet Village Market" as a joyous tribute to the Year of the Monkey. It was a perfect opportunity to focus on family, welcome spring and offer warm wishes for an auspicious future.

Over the course of this fun, 3-day event, Furama Resort was decked out in festive décor replete with a vibrant array of symbols and colors. A giant 55-year-old apricot plant, lanterns, together with colorful flowers in Furama Spring Garden right in the lobby welcomed visitors to a vivid Tet holiday. The spirit of the ancient Vietnamese street food life was fully restored right on the resort's new infinity look courtyard and the Ocean Ballroom. A snapshot of Vietnamese rice-culture, bamboo plants, banana trees and especially food stalls were set up for visitors to stop by and enjoy square and cylinder formed glutinous rice cakes together with hot tea. Only from VND 30,000, guests could treat their taste buds to many of the holiday's unique food and beverage choices including "Chung" cake, "Tet" cake as well as other regional dishes such as Hanoi "Bun Thang" noodles soup, Danang chicken rice, Sai Gon noodle soup, etc. Children could ask for their favorite toys- including "to he", silk lanterns, bamboo flutes and Hoian souvenirs, etc and enjoyed a funny magic show.

Furama Resort also put together an impressive lineup of authentic performers just for the occasion. Dragon dance, spring folk songs, fortune telling, calligraphy booths and other amazing activities were successfully setting the mood for the festive season.

"Tet Village Market" was a unique opportunity for guests of all ages to share in a colorful, enriching experience and to commemorate the most important traditional celebration of the year!
