The central coastal city of Danang has seen robust growth in the tourism sector, thanks to scores of festivals taking place between May and September.

Danang City recorded 1.6 million tourists over the past two months, surging by 26% year-on-year, said Tran Chi Cuong, deputy director of the Department of Tourism of Danang City. He attributed this to a series of festivals and activities, such as the Danang International Fireworks Festival and Danang-Summer Destination 2018 program.

VIETNAM FOLKLORE NIGHT – FURAMA’S UNIQUE END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATIONS

Furama Resort Danang is preparing Vietnam Folklore Night, an exotic programme which is ideal for guests who dream of a real change to close the year. Combining holiday festive events with Vietnamese folklore, the resort will delight its guests with idyllic rural decors and convivial celebrations.

This great Vietnam Folklore Night will kick-off at 7.30 pm with a cocktail party at the pre-function area, where guests in traditional "Ao Dai" are welcomed to take photos and immerge themselves in a stunning Vietnam rustic village featuring a huge lotus lake and a rice fields setting from the legendary country side. The evening will continue with a hearty feast of gastronomic cuisines from the Royal Palace, such as slow steamed bird's nest soup with ginseng, lobsters in all its styles, king crabs, etc. along with exotic international gourmet dishes including Wagyu beef in Teppanyaki style.

The New Year's Eve programme will highlight an exciting lineup of entertainment. To add up to the terrific atmosphere, Minh Nhat Dance troupe will perform charming folk dances from around the country, performed on a stage with a rustic Vietnamese Royal temple background. Then it will be time for the resident DJ to keep the party going until the early hours of 2016.
